Hi guys!I'm totally noob about Quake modding, so I'd like asking some things:
1)There's a way to use .tgas instead of .mip images in quake?I don' want to use a wad, because it's limited to 256colors per image
2)I downloaded Nexuiz buit I've noticed a completely different structure:no wads, tga textures, a models directory and, inside, .zym models instead of .mdl. Can I use Nexuiz for a single player game (using Quake core, with enemies, savegames, etc)?
3)Can you please link me a good site (or a wiki)for quake noob modding?
Thanks in advance!

bah
Nexuiz is basically the Darkplaces Quake engine + mod + new UI (using DP extensions). You can do all those things you want with DP, FTE, and other engines, including TGA textures and zym models.

Thanks a lot guys for your replies! And thanks for the links too!I've noticed that Nexuiz has a team work a bit "close", they don't seem to give useful informations about exporter tools, basic editing or single player creation tutorials. I think that I'm going to start with DP and then I tried to find other informations.
Thanks again!
Thanks again!
