Re: qbismSuper8 builds
I don't remember if I asked this before, but what do I need to compile this on a win7 machine? Code::Blocks, anything else?

Re: qbismSuper8 builds
Could you link to what is needed to build qbism on windows (7 if that matters)? I've tried installing the direct x sdk but code blocks complains about missing headers iirc.

Re: qbismSuper8 builds
yeah, i did that in a new version. i'll try to get some shots up soon.qbism wrote:Looks good, dread. Maybe try getting a few brighter highlights in there - lighten the top range a little more. I'd also suggest adding some noise to the palette to get some 'grit' into solid color areas, especially solid black.

Re: qbismSuper8 builds
I've been looking into the stuck window bug, and tried improvement posted by Mankrip and Baker, but nothing has worked yet. It may be something outside the code. The next thing I will try is an older version and/or newer version of the compiler. Is the native resolution of your laptop still detecte...

Re: qbismSuper8 builds
I've found some bugs with qbismS8 0109 (I'm on windows 7 sp1 x64). The bug where if the window is moved partially off screen it becomes stuck is back, in windowed mode I can't bind mouse buttons in 'customize controls' menu, my tv's native resolution (1300x768) also isn't listed in the video modes m...

Re: qbismSuper8 builds
I tried using capture_start today, and got the error "video stream could not be created," or something of that sort. capture_codec was set to xvid (I don't know the abbreviations of any of the other codecs). Do I need to install a codec pack (klite, cccp)?

Re: qbismSuper8 builds
In windowed mode, if the qbism window is moved halfway off screen, it can't be brought back; it's just stuck there. I'm on windows 7.

Re: qbismSuper8 builds
With the latest qbism I get a yellow tint (I suppose that's what you would call it) when I bring up the menu. I start qbism from a dos prompt and it doesn't report any errors.

If he put the files in the list of files that the torrent downloads and kept them in their original form I think he would be fine.Spirit wrote:Keep in mind that many maps (probably mods too?) do not allow distribution else than in their original zip file.
