Yup, that's the game, though I don't think it runs on modern drivers, plus it was pretty buggy even then.

The old website has been archived here - http://red.planetarena.org/alteria_legacy/

We will be creating all new artwork and levels for it, but keeping a good part of the game play/style intact. I might create a demo level using some of the new tech and some weapons initially just for getting some media and playtesting/weapon balancing out there.

Thanks gb; your blog is always an interesting read.

Started work again (only a 6 month break this time...) to make things more interesting for me, I'm going to make a brief demo with a restricted play area and only a couple of goals to achieve. Just to prove the concept for myself and to give me an objective amongst all the ongoing, long-term, mapping slog.

Oh and I've added another page to my blog's menu, to give brief updates: http://earthquakemod.wordpress.com/latest-notes/ Its useful, as I can't always be arsed to either write longer updates or update my website.

Oh, and I've transfered the back story over to the blog

I think I've seen that flavor before... qbism build 11-ish had similar looking problem on menk, it was a typo, fixed in build 13.
