I can run it since I'm a non-coder I won't be tied up with other considerations... I'll just use PlanetQuake webspace for the hosting.
Suggestions for a theme anyone?

Heh, shows you're a non coder!
No suggestions for a theme please, as the theme has to be a secret until the speedmod starts. That's what makes it a speedmod!

Ok I'll come up with something suitably boring.
How does Saturday to Sunday this coming weekend sound (15th-16th), is that too soon to get the word out properly?

Hmm, could we make it a Friday-Saturday? Sundays are bad for me; I don't even get to touch a computer... :?

It's been raised in the #qc room that it'd be neat to have optional teams of two working together on the speedmod, which is ok by me... so if you want to team up with someone, sort it out ahead of time.
Oh yeah, the timelimit will be 24 hours, tho if you overrun it's not so bad I guess.

I probably can't attend. The only internet I have is at the college at the moment, because the flooding here in southern Utah has knocked out a lot of people's internet, including mine. I'm just glad it didn't take my house... a lot of people lost a lot more than their net connection.
Anyway, if my connection comes back up soon enough then I'll participate. Cheers!
