So i got a new pc and i decided to see how well dp runs and i have the FPS counter showing my FPS but i noticed that the frames go from like 100+ to like 40+ my question is, is there a way to lock the FPS for darkplaces at like 60? and would it make a difference i also forgot to mention that i'm running win7 x64.

also i did a dxdiag just incase there might be some extra info that might aid you in answering my question...

Always had good luck w/ Gateways laptops. Got a weird triple-core at BestBuy a couple years ago, and an old one still going strong because somebody needed 3.5 floppy.

Well for one thing, it won't heat up your card while you stare at a wall. Darkplaces is uncapped otherwise.

cl_maxfps is not archived, so youl'l probably want to use autoexec.cfg to set it
