Using 'Start' map to select options

Post by qbism »

Maybe it was a dream, but I remember an RPG mod that had player class selection within the start map by choosing an arch to walk under. Each arch had a static player model - wizard, knight, cleric, something along those lines. Prydon comes to mind but it's not that. It could have been a TF mod even. Anyone recall the name of such a mod?

It's Fantasy Quake: Rise of the Phoenix. You can find this in idgames2/ in the total_conversions/ folder.

yeah, it´s like leilei said. Also "omen" ftp://ftp.fu-berlin.de/pc/games/idgames ... en2_10.zip has a feature similar (but simpler)

Yeah, both do what I was thinking, thanks! Trigger sets player role type.
