Be honest, you can't wait can you? It's the gift you can give the man who has everything.

;)

By the way when I say "mini" I really mean mini

(and when I say "Christmas" I mean any time between now and December 31st...)

ta.

it's whizzing along, and it comes with a lovely xmas-y, funny, extra, thingy for those who win at it.
it's now 99% done, I'm just tweaking with some stuff, all numbers, amounts and timings.
anyway, some images:

Well it's finished, took me about 7 hours in total, not bad really.

Anyway it's a "collect all the items before the time limit or bad things will come get you" type mod.
It can be quite fustrating to beat (as my play-tester son tells me) but a funny reward awaits you if you do, well I think it's amusing anyway. Actually it's quite fun to avoid the bad things if you don't get inside the time limit too, not that you achieve anything ;)

3 points:
- the snowmen are meant to annoy you!
- tomazquake 1.48 is again reccomended
- you don't need Lunkin's Journey to play it.

It can be nabbed from: here, readme here

happy christmas! :)

I'm confuzzled over this, I got like 36 presents (there are better present models out there btw) then I couldn't find anymore, soldiers appeared, then what are you supposed to do? Just die?

Damn, boy do I hate strange bugs. Basically between my son and I it was played 150 times before I upped it. We got that error (e.g. you got all the presents, but didn't win, and the soldiers came) once, about 2nd try - I (obviously believed I) fixed it, and we didn't see it again.

If you get all the presents (35) within the time limit, then a screen appears saying well done, click for goodie etc. If you fail, then text appears saying the soldiers have woken, and you get to run around until eitehr you quit, or the sodleirs kill you.

If it happens again, pull the console down and if on the last "you stole X presents" x is 35 or more, let me know. Not that I have the first idea why it's doign it or what to do.

Has it ever worked right? E.g. have you won it?

Re: the present model - it's 50% homemade, and yeah it's a little crappy, but I rustled this up in no time at all, and it did the job.

WHen i happened before it was when the last present was collected just as the timer hit zero....., it's never happened if you've loads to spare.
