Func_ladder and prediction? Is problem? Is non-problem?

Just wondering whether or not func_ladder would have prediction problems in Quakeworld or DPP7.
Does Nexuiz have any maps using func_ladder or Quake 3 maps running Nexuiz with func_ladder?
Just curious. Avirox seemed to indicate this would be a problem.
If func_ladder and prediction causes a problem, would there be an engine-side solution that already exists like some DP or FTE extension?

/Somehow I messed up the sound sync. Rare for me to mess up a video as many times as I've converted demos.
