Speed Mods

Post by MauveBib »

Didn't really make sense to post this in the instructions thread, so I've made a new thread for everyone to post their speedmods in.

Here's mine http://www.planetquake.com/elf/helix.zip

It's an axe-totting, zombie-dodging, helix-collecting romp.

Here's Randy's speedmod, a SP game based around tracking down rougue dogs with a unique new weapon:
www.planetquake.com/elf/sm00_randy.zip

And SupaJoe's speedmod, a QW game where you must collect fish in competition with your friends:

Note, all these speedmods require the following level to be in your ID1/MAPS directory:
www.planetquake.com/elf/h_speed1.zip

More to come hopefully!

Mauve: I got 41 helices, 26 kills :D Cool mod; it would be a neat idea to develop it a bit more, maybe into some kind of multiplayer competition
F. A. Špork, an enlightened nobleman and a great patron of art, had a stately Baroque spa complex built on the banks of the River Labe.

An enforcers mod
all weapons turned into different sort of lasers
enforcer's ai was tweaked a bit, they can strafe, jump and have predictable aim.

skill 1 is recommended :)

Firstly, here's Sajt's entry for the speedmod, a multiplayer game for Quake in which you have to collect Fish and Food, and feed it to a hungry puppy, whilst slapping other players with your fish to drive off the competition.
www.planetquake.com/elf/sm00_sajt.zip

Secondly, the final version of the speedmod's base map has been released, now fully VIS'd and leak-free.
