I'm working on a new Quake inspired retro FPS called KOOK. Wanted to have the quake vibes with some more modern lighting but keep everything per texel.
Commissioned Makkon to make versions of some of his textures with height and normal maps to take advantage of the realtime lighting and self shadowing. Trying to get the vibe of these retro games the way we remembered them, so a bit more detail and such than vanilla Quake.
Also have some crazy M. C. Escher style gravity and such going on!
