Why'd they bother making a sequel?

Avaricious capitalism?
We had the power, we had the space, we had a sense of time and place
We knew the words, we knew the score, we knew what we were fighting for

I'm working on the sequel because I like to eat and have a place to live.

I kind of enjoyed Prey, it did suffer from being a little samey after a while, but it had some really interesting ideas and gameplay mechanics, that it could have explored/used in more interesting ways.
Though not the best game ever, there was certainly enough there to justify a sequel. Especially if keeps FrikaC in food and shelter.

I enjoyed the "Art Bell" radio theme and hope they do something similar with Prey 2.

Like Ajay, I too enjoyed interesting ideas and game play mechanics.

I'm not sitting on the edge of my seat waiting for Prey 2, but probably will get it... and probably enjoy it as much as I did the first one. :)

thoroughly enjoyed the game :) its pretty refreshing albeit a bit disorienting at start because of the gravity and portal effects.

the history gets a thumbs up for being so far out you got to believe it

the spirit mode made for some pretty big grins also :P

Prey 2 apparently isn't doing the portal novelty anymore, but the whole 'alien world civilization' thing. Anachronoxy I think.

Just picked up Prey for 99p from my local Gamestation - at that price would have been rude not to buy it. As with my previous 360 version, I'm properly enjoying it.

Heh, I thought of the bar too. Also I thought it was a Rage screenshot.
