By Jove, leileilol, you're right, and that fixed it. What is this hack? I've never heard of it.

I've looked at the medkit model, and it's very strange... This model looks fine in WinQuake but in FitzQuake the hands and fingers (but not arms) have weird patches of black on them, which wouldn't be explained by the skin itself, which has no black areas. It looks like in the uvmap you have "f...

Aye. I guess it would be easier to just code HUD and Menu in the engine :) If this is all you wanted to do, YES, do it in the engine! CSQC is not something that somebody can implement in an engine for $50 on a weekend. (Believe me... the $50 and that weekend can be better spent... *COUGH*) And even...

The 15 warnings is normal, yes (when using FTEQCC).

Progs.dat isn't usually stored in the pak0.pak file. Compiling the QuakeC generates progs.dat, and progs.dat should end up in the mod's directory. (The first line of progs.src specifies where progs.dat is generated.)

pak1.pak is the data of the registered version of Quake. You have to buy Quake to get that file. (pak0.pak is used by both the shareware and the registered versions.) If you downloaded the QuakeC source, you should have a folder full of .qc files, and also a filed called progs.src in that directory....

I tried using that. I studied The vecto angles, but I didn't get any results at all. I see that one small value can change alot. And setting the angles to the origin did give me some of the results I was looking for. 1 more thing, I was just trying things. Well, the vectoyaw line of code I posted i...

Could you explain exactly what your thinking is when you try something like "self.angles_y = s_flagb.origin_y"? Because it looks like you're just typing in completely random stuff and hoping it will magically work. Taking a position coordinate and copying its value into an angle field make...

Even some sci-fi games can have great 'conventional weapon' feedback. In terms of shotguns i've always been fond of Klingon Honor Guard's, especially the awesome (for the time (1998)) reload animation (oh the OBSCURITY!). Totally off topic, but basically all I remember from that game is that it too...
