A material in OpenKatana/Decay, yes. The texture overlaid on top (the one with the actual hole) is just a placeholder though until the final one is finished.

I haven't touched it until recently, due to work and other personal circumstances, but here's an update on my material editor for Katana.

The question is, if I’m drawing a rectangle onto the screen and then a triangle, why should they both use their own completely different rendering paths when they essentially are doing the same thing?
That's a software rendering heritage. In the software renderer, triangles, BSP polys, particles ...

A while ago I made the decision to split the engine off into a separate module that gets loaded by a launcher, which would mean that multiple launchers could be created with their own icon and name for whatever game they'd be specifically assigned to... That was just some thinking ahead for the ...

Just finished working on both explosive and non-explosive barrels for OpenKatana. Stumbled into an overflow occuring while working on that, so that needs sorting later... Urgh...

Also officially been working on OpenKatana for four years now, yay... :cry:
