I personally prefer screenshots to be ungamma'd. Your gamma setting is uh...philosophically associated with your display, not with the game itself. The screenshot file will be shared with other people with other displays, and your gamma settings won't likely help them...

Actually, technically, multiplayer is fundamentally a nightmare. For the player I mean, more than the networking coding. Don't bother playing any multiplayer games, I've tried it, it's not fun. Just stick with singleplayer and maybe coop. Or even don't play games at all. They're a waste of time ...

FTEQW is a quake client. FTEQCC is a quakec compiler. Two different things. FTEQCC has a larger "vocabulary" of warnings than FrikQCC. There's a warning for unused fields, for example, which is annoying because there may be some fields that are used by the map compiler but not by QuakeC...

Impulses aren't a good thing to use with +/- aliases, because there's only one impulse field and if a keyup impulse happens at a certain time it could be overridden (set to another impulse) before the QC function is called, and it will be as if the keyup event never happened.

If the bullet is instant-hit (like a railgun), then TE_TEI_G3 is the way to go.

You can do that in Paint Shop Pro too if you rename palette.lmp to palette.raw. QME can also convert between .lmp and JASC format .pal.

Looks to me like there is indeed yellow in your sprite. You probably messed something up during palette conversion. (What did you use for this?) The last couple of frames do use the correct transparent colour.

I don't think the dpv format is that great. I don't know if DP supports other formats though. I personally am not interested in "FMV" at all.
