Change player size?

So, the quake guy is kinda small and puny. Kinda looks like your crouching. So what i wanna do is make the player size taller, and also making your "camera" higher up. How would i do this? Using darkplaces btw. Model does not matter as my game is singleplayer.

I screwed around with the lighting settings, made things look kinda better, so things kinda reflect light. But i cant get it to make the textures look deeper, i see no diffirence when i delete my normal map. Anyone have a good config?

Normal maps/bump maps in darkplaces?

Didnt really know were to put this, sorry if its in the wrong section.
Anyway, i wanna have normal maps in my darkplaces mod. I checked out the replacing content documentation and saw that i should rename my normal map with _norm.tga after. So i have bricka2_2.tga and bricka2_2_norm.tga. I didnt see ...

Custom Textures With Darkplaces And QuArK

So, i have made some textures, that exceds the amount of colours in the quake palette, thus i can not use it in quake. I use darkplaces and im wondering, is it possible to make a .wad of this texture and thus using it in darkplaces? I also have a .wad making/editing program named TexMex.

I just placed the fireaxe function on every frame. Works great now. Thanks for the help man :D

Making a chainsaw, damage problems.

So basicly im making a chainsaw in quake. So i switched the axe model with my chainsaw, and the i edited the time that it takes for the attack to be done on the axe from 0.5 to 0.1. The sound replays really fast, but the chainsaw only does damage when i release the attack button. What is failing?

Now i get this clipping problem with pretty much all of my models. Is there anyway to get around this without moving the model, as i want the model in a particular position for it to look good. I use darkplaces and .md3 as weapon format.
