BTW, I didn't know before that only certain monsters trigger the effects. Just found out its a lot better on the regular Quake levels than the one I first tried it on (yourdead.bsp) which is basically a large box filled with every type of monster.

Yep, it's been balanced for Quake levels mainly ...

Ren, I love the way you implemented that cool new status bar, at the bottom of the screen.
I particularly like that sound tool that enables me to turn the volume up and down. Really nifty. I also really enjoy that "pause" option. I always thought pressing escape was boring.
Oh, and that timer is ...

Really like the psychological terror concept, but the problem I think is when the 'subliminal' popups are too frequent and predictable. In F.E.A.R. they would appear infrequently and when you were least expecting it, and just before other (but less sudden) disturbing scenes.
Maybe if they would pop ...

Maybe instead of an overhead view, how about a NOCLIP view like an Observer? This eliminates multi tiered platform height problem you described earlier.

...like the lack of any real horror atmosphere due to Corporal being a bad ass in a suit among others. ..

You should know that has nothing to do with horror atmosphere. I found envenom scary, and have found other games with heavy armaments or armor scary too. AvP had some pretty heavy duty ...

Codename: Envenom : if I recall correctly you had it and TAOV beginning at roughly the same time, and I was kinda hoping that C:E would be the keeper, but then you went and made TAOV all good and all and C:E went away :( ;)

Yeah that's pretty much what happened, my biggest problem is changing ...

Your Lost Mods

What Quake mods have you lost over time due to hard drive failures? Network crashes? Floppy disks dying? whatever? Who knows, maybe one of us has each others mod somewhere backed up on a CD in a dusty closet hidden under a pile of clothes.

Here's my list:

Codename: Envenom is probably my biggest flop, too much of a grand scale for a project - although I did put a lot of effort into it and therefore got a release.

Street Fighter 2 Quake would be my second as it only had 2 playable characters; Ryu and Ken.

Space Quake, simple horizontal shooter game ...
