What do you mean exactly by "get rid of the clipping", btw?

I'm not sure if "clipping" is the right word.
In DP, when I stand in front of a door that is rotating closed (or open) the door passes through the player model rather than pushing it. It appears to snap the player model to the other side ...

Well, I'm still slowly plugging away at QCPad... and when I say slowly, I mean sssllooooooowly! I have a few outdoor home projects that are huge and taking up most of all my time.
Some of the time that I do have at night I put into QCPad... which is usually about four hours a week...

Ah, I see now. Just tried it with the latest DirectQ and it works great!
Do you think Darkplaces be updated to get rid of the clipping?

Just tried out the rotate map test in DirectQ, and everything works, except when you stand on the rotating bridge, the player doesnt rotate with the bridge, the bridge just rotates under the player.

Thought that should be brought up.

Pretty sweet though.

Also, if yo stand in front of a door ...

That qc editor is looking quite nice. Not sure if you know of it or not but http://www.scintilla.org/ . Should make syntax highlighting a breeze.

Yeah, I have eye-balled Scintilla a bit.... for syntax highlighting capabilities. When that part of QC-Pad is being created I will try my hand ...

1) Most programming-oriented editors show source code using a monospaced font by default. This makes the indented code easier to read;
2) Templates or wizards to create new monsters, weapons and/or items would be a plus for the absolute beginners, and something not hard to implement.

Well, I am finally working on a project that has an actual goal!
I'm creating my own QC editor called QC-Pad. Egads! I hope that name hasn't been used yet!
I like one or two features of other programing editors, but have yet to find the same features packed into one editor. So ...

How do you folks structure your working folder... in regards to qc files, progs.src, and progs.dat?

Do you place all of your qc files, progs.src, and progs.dat into a single folder? How many of you separate your qc files into separate folders?

I, personally, like all of my qc files and .src file ...

Is there a way to block the spammers?
