It's been a loooong time since my college days... I seem to remember that when using floating points, time is lost in shifting (floating) the decimal place in math operations.
Looking at other comments on the internet... they also mention that integers can provide a speed boost 2 to 3 times more ...

Re: Box physics with Gyro

Does gyro provide a way of having box physics? It would be cool to have some ammo boxes bouncing around on rocket and grenade explosions.

You can add Gyro physics to any object in Quake. The ammo boxes look kind of funky as their bounding box is twice the height of the model... this also causes ...

The English language of today wasn't something that was suddenly developed! It evolved from many different sources of the past... including lazy use of words and slang words. This is true of all languages today.

Now we have the internet... a place where millions of people communicate with one ...

No vote here... I tend to be non judgmental about grammar.
It doesn't annoy me in any way. If I can understand the point being made then why should I be upset about it?

I don't think good or bad grammar is an overall reflection of a person's intelligence... it is only a sliver of of the whole.

I've no experience in engine development, but am sure that your question spans across many programming scenarios.

I recently had VB dump three weeks of work.... it was there... then WOOSH! It just zapped several items from the GUI I was working on!
I ALWAYS back things up... with the exception of ...

how about get a new domain, inside-3d.com or inside3d.net or anything similar, and just move there now, with this domain being a "redirect" page for as long as it lasts?
^^^ What metlslime said

I even dare to say I'd fork a couple bucks to help pay for the domain if it's the case. :P

I would ...

Modifying the engine to constantly record 10 seconds of demotime and overwrite that same 10 seconds constantly to have a replay I think would be the best way to go about it.

But I'm not really the person to ask.

Yeah, that sounds about right except... the constant recording of demos every 10 ...

Very cool post, Seven!

I've checked out the effectinfo.txt in the past and have had varying degrees of success in understanding how to use this.
