Does anybody have some good base QC that isn't the one in the tutorials section? That one's not quite what I'm looking for.

Just stating the facts. Changing the view height is as easy as changing a vector number.

Example:
setorigin (missile, self.origin + v_forward*8 + '0 0 16');

99% sure frametime is just the difference in time from the last frame. That should be fine regardless of what the tickrate is.

its only framerate independant if the value is correct for the total duration. if you're using a nextthink of 0.1, and the server is ticking 72 times per second, your frametime is 1/72 instead of 0.1, and thus wrong.

Well if it supports homebrew I'm sure we'll see an ARM port of Darkplaces, or at the very least Quakes 1 - 3, for the NGP.

It would be great to have a lighter, simpler implementation of CSQC that mirrors SSQC, but I doubt we'll ever see the day.
If all it does is to reimplement ssqc, then its pointless - you may as well use pure ssqc.
