The total kills possible isn't shown because we were floating the idea of not showing it. Similar to doom percentage kills, but with even less info.

Ah yeah - I normally run fitz085 which has its own protocol 666 which handles stuff on that side.

There tend to be a few protocols floating around - AguirRe has his for example, which allows Kascam cameras.

Any engine with enhanced limitations will do - for the map.

It breaks entity limits in gl, but playing other maps (that don't) should work ok.

Thanks. Yeah, we discussed chainsaw swinging - swing and hold on hit sounds much better.

As to the rain, it is an emission, but of a cloud of models. Doing it with one emission per drop would strain most machines, so this is the compromise. To do it with particles is practically impossible - they ...

We could do a visual upgrade, but not at the same time as such a major overhaul of everything else. There's lots of others working on such stuff as well.

As to the rain, it doesn't actually produce noise, there's just a global sound effect. Could be the volume is too high ...

I wasn't disappointed at all by the previous expo. It didn't wash the dishes or open a portal to the netherworld but that's not what I was expecting.

Instead it was a nice little showplace that got me to see some stuff I wouldn't have normally.

Like a charm. But.

How do I stop it with a health pack?

I'm almost completely new to qc.

AFAIK I can't check if the player is healed within OnPoisonThink, so I have to make a variable? eg. Poisoned - but then I write an if poisoned statement and how will it remove the poison from the player?

Ok, I'm trying to implement an enemy that poisons the player using the tutorial:
