Interesting tutorial.

I see I'm mentioned this time.
Thats nice.

Altho what I did was alot simpler, and way more sane than this code.

I wouldnt really call this code a centerprint logger tho, this more a "send centerprints to the console" which is actually what i did in TomazQuake as well except ...

This is like the 5:th tutorial from you that i read that shows a feature and list a few engines that supports it, and also the 5:th tutorial that doesnt list TomazQuake as one of the engines supporting it.

Nice tutorial, but why do I get the feeling you're not really sure what you're doing?

1) You ...

WTF?!?!?!?!

First you write a tutorial without a single comment on what is done or why. And then when someone asks what the old code did, you dont even know?

So for those that wonder.

BuildTris() parses all the triangles in the model and builds tri strips and tri fans ( makes the rendering alot ...

Hey Akuma!

It's weird so many of us are in or actively trying to break into the games industry. Especially considering the age of the game all our resume work is for. (At least in my case).

I'm also sad that so much of the community has fallen out of touch to such a degree. I still make checking ...

I blame the elusive and shrinking Quake community.
Oh sure, project your faults onto others!
I blame FrikaC!
If you had not quit on SW:D this would never have happened!

So there is only one solution to this problem, you have to go back and finish SW:D!

Why are you guys so unfriendly and offensive? :?

Sorry, didnt mean to be unfriendly, Im just born that way.

I tested TQ with 0.005 and yes, something is broken regarding interpolation in slowmo, try it with slowmo 0.1 and you can clearly see that it interpolates. Maybe ill look into the issue ...

Im quite sure TQ has animation interpolation on by default, i could be wrong tho.

[edit1]
What I wonder is, did you "restore" a "clean" config.cfg between each engine run? Because if engine A had animation_interpolation defaulted to 0, then it might save that to your config file, so when engine B ...

Oh ok, I'll take that into consideration, that it's not considered a double standard, to own illegal drugs, for example, but only to distribute them. OK
I know where everyone stands now.

Errmm... Its not illegal to SAY you own drugs... You still got no proof that he/she actually has any illegal ...

Thanks to CheapAlert I now have all post 1.44 releases, but I am still missing everything pre 1.44. There has to be someone that has them on a backup cd somewhere deep in the closet, no?

I need help, looking for old TQ releases

After being kinda non-quaking for a couple of years ive now finally started work on TQ 2.0.

But now I need help. I found all sources of the released 21 version of TomazQuake ( 1.3 to 1.48 ) but I had noone of the actual releases. So if anyone has any old TQ releases ( not source ) then please write ...

Bwahahaha, so fun to read ones name in so many posts without a good reason.

I honestly did not know ( not back then and not now ) that it was this much "politics" involved in quake engine developing back in the days.

I just coded what i wanted to code and basically didnt give a f**k about what ...
