@jitspoe, thanks. The next version has a ton more sounds to make the maps feel more alive. I should really create a gib arm with the monster still holding the sword!

Most of the map was made from scraps of brushwork I had lying around, that is why it was created so fast. I like the particle effects on your teleporters, looks nice and subtle. Not sure why showing legs in an FPS is ...

Sock, what editor do you use for Quake mapping?
I use the GTK editor ( v1.3.8 ) and I have hacked it to work with Quake, but I would recommend you try Trenchbroom - http://celephais.net/board/view_thread.php?id=60908&start=1129 as it is better suited for Quake mapping.
Some towers are built dodgy ...

@R00k, I like the idea of the zombies from bodies but why is the gun glowing when they hit you? Do you have an objective planned for the zombies? I really hope you create unique levels for your mod. What do you plan to do with the non-humanoid monster types?

@ceriux, that is an interesting idea, I hope Baker finds the time to implement it. I always liked the hub system of early games like Hexen and HL and with some nice custom maps it could really be fun to play with.
