I agree, it isn't a perfect system. Some small maps with a lot of detail can eat up megabyte space just as quickly as huge terrain maps with large scale fortressess sitting on top of them can.

1) once every few months, when a new map, or episode comes out, and sometimes when I notice something in the back log of levels that I have not played yet that suits my fancy -- ohh, a fancylad! I will play two or three days of Quake before I get it worked out of my system. I revisit Zerstörer and ...

It has been ages since I have used keygrip 2 but I don't recall having any problems with recamming. Without it, the program would not have been very useful.

You may want to read these tutorials. This link points to the first one that deals with recamming.

Hmm, I think I know her, Cheapy. She worked at a club called Pure Platinum a few years back and she could make lockets out of cherry stems with her tongue (not having arms your other appendiges aquire hightened abilaties).

For me, I resolve to stop overcommitting, and concentrate on only two projects at a time. I also think we saw far fewer maps in the previous year because most mappers are involved in larger scale group projects. It'll be great when Travail, Base, Nehahra episode 4 are released, but in the meantime ...

Detective Pearson Long asked himself, 'How did I get stuck with this rookie?'

"I'm pretty sure Heaton never actually appeared topless on Everybody Loves Raymond. That never happened."

"So you think I hallucinated it," His new partner, Ari Gonzales asked.

"Of course."

"I'm kind of worried," the ...

Good job Cheaps,

That message is working on me already, I feel the guilt trip, and I try to answer back with a few snively, 'but . . . but . . . I have to go to work.'

CocoT, not only are the tools listed on Bengt's site but he has a good compiling error faq, http://user.tninet.se/~xir870k/tooltips.txt there as well. I looked up the cluster error, unfortunately it isn't listed as a common error and I have not seen it before.

So I took the next step and loaded the ...

Yeah, IP doctrine can get out of hand and be a pain in the ass when misused by legalist. If you poke around games and graphic design that came before Quake, you will find where Id borrowed ideas for just about everything in Quake. It is not an indictment of Id to say this because ideas don't just ...

hey Mike,

I suspect you have good reasons not to add another sound file, but I'll ask just in case -- why not use the custent entity ambient_bgm (bgm is for back ground music). There is a good example in the custent test maps of background music where three wav files are 'spliced' together with an ...
