Theory in action

This a theory I wanted to try out. It attaches the players view in front of the head, so there would only be the playermodel required, no viewmodels. I saw this in a couple of games, and I think more games should use it.

I was going to list the option of having an event on both '05 and '06, but decided not to, since the Quake community generally moves too slow to be able to run something kickass each year. Atleast it seems so. I'd be happy to be proven wrong.

DOS games (like Quake) can only read filenames with eight characters and a three-letter extension. Try renaming your model to "axesoldi.mdl", making appropriate changes in the code, and see if that works.

Quake has for the longest time not been just a DOS game. I'm fairly surprised you don't seem ...
