1: psp cannot handle massive maps (quake engine)

you might wanna add a .float idlesound or something

and make it

if(self.health < 20 && self.idlesound < time)
{
sound (self,CHAN_VOICE,"soundname here", 1, ATTN_NORM);
self.idlesound = time + 20; // 20 seconds
}

without that idlesound the player would contantly make a sound and would ...

whenever i try to run my marker model in quake which is like 750 polys it says too many verticies what am i doing wrong? how can i fix it?

how would i code it so that while my player is walking or idling quake plays a sound and when the players health drops below 20 it plays another sound?

okay i have a map setup where when the player hits a trigger it blows out the vent cover but he just stays in the vent

any solutions?
