Genius are like minded.

I just tried yesterday to download Blackmage, Spike's God Night Out and the Fragtown maps. And seems that google has tons of crap non-quake1 related, so is hard to locate mods, maps and stuff.
A maintenance here can be very usefull.

Thanks Lord Havoc.

Anyway I really need to fix my system. Seems that dev's like ALSA more because able mixing sounds sources, while OSS only able one. So maybe OSS will be deprecated. And stuff like Firefox will evolve to use ALSA.

Maybe. But I guest may need very high quality to be accepted.

Anyway I am not on the enginecoding business again. I just recompiled to get sound trough OSS, that work better on my system.

I whas wanting to make a "low tech" mod for years. I mean, quit superpowerfull weapons like nailgun, and add "nerfed" weapons. So combat become more hard and more realism. It smell like your mod will have this low tech feel AND horror games fear :D

a) - Doctor that you can ask for health, or will health you automatically.(to avoid the medikit topic).
b) - People walking around doing nothing (scientist, for ambient purposes)
c) - People firing from a stationary spot, and hidden somethimes. So can be ...

Well, you could use frikbots and waypoint the city, so when attacked if theyre easily scared, they will pick a distant point in the map and move away from it, or run towards a cop.

Mod Idea: Vampire

I have a idea for a simple mod.
Its a GTA alike mod. Will need 1 city map, but I dont need cars, only people on the streets walking.
You are a new vampire and are just confused. If you dont eat blood, you lost health. But you dont want to.
People will run in fear if you attack him with vampire ...

Not a tool, but i used to play the "morph" mod, so can make levels as fiend.

This can be in use for a puzzle game, because different quake characters can do different things.

fiend -> jump
zombi -> cross lava/spikes/fire
etc.

Welll.. I guest Nexuiz will have more than 15.000 users.
An my engine used to have 600 users, I guest DarkPlaces will have like 30.000, maybe. (I creat this numbers from my ass, anyway).
