I have been told off for even saying Quake1 however. It's just Quake. Was there a 1 on the box? No. Did the other 3 have anything to do with the first? No. Did ID just make 4 completely different games, and then try to shoehorn them all under a Quake banner to ensure sales? Yes ...

bug (kind of):

Open a wad. Delete some frames on an image. Click "save as". Get the error message "Umm, not a valid miptext group! Uh-oh ... FIXME". Okay, click "Okay" Program crashes.
