I saw some Crysis low-setting benches for budget C2D notebooks. Those with a 4500MHD (is this the Mobile Intel 4 series?) GPU only manages 5fps, while the only ATI chip managed 50fps. I found this quote too (wikipedia) In a review published in May 2008, the GMA X4500 showed a superior game performan...

Cool! Love the attack. The collars interesting... Like to see a map with scrags, fiends, vores, vortigaunts and orb, with some alien landscape such as Hrimfaxi's Voidscape ???. Hmmm... maybe orb with his humanesque weapon would be out of place. Quoth's Night Gaunts, Polyps and Droles would make it a...

The Intel 965 Chip mentioned is not a good performer in any event. It was their first hardware T&L chip and even the older 945 was up to twice as fast. Laugh. I love it when people dump on Intel's GPUs, which have traditionally been awful with OpenGL. There was some good press about their last ...

SDL/GL is upto 20% slower than OpenGL alone. I tested QS recently on an old win98/athlon750/matroxG200 box... didn't seem too bad. You can type "gl_texturemode 1" for a small preformance boost. Make sure "r_novis 0" too. Intel chips aren't the best with OpenGL. Perhaps an engine ...

I'm already talking to LordHavoc about an official Darkplaces wiki being hosted
That'd be cool.

A FitzQuake wiki ?? Both these projects have iffy documentation.
But the real clincher is - who's going to write and update them. Not me ;->

[edit] I take it back Metl... Just a little overwhelming
