Warsow has skeletal models with animation blending support, you can check there. You can also check here http://jal.quakedev.com/ in the skelmod project, but the version in Warsow is more advanced.

I also miss qsrc. http://tomaz.quakesrc.org/scs/news.php weird, isn't it? BTW, the only reason why I don't actively participate at quakedev.com/forums is because the 'mark as read' function isn't working. Makes too hard for me to keep track of the forum. It's been a year since some of us reported it...
