Cool, I found these very helpful in helping me wrap my head around the syntax. Good work!

divVerent created a radar for Nexuiz using CSQC which I believe is actually more complicated than Halo's radar.

As an old school halo addict, I was quite impressed with the replica models, down to the animations.

Why not check out Nexuiz SVN source? The new scoreboard uses CSQC.

He's definitely still interested in the game just a little stressed and hurt by the nonsense and drama that go with it. We could still use some help to help take that burden off of him so it can be the fun project he used to love.

If it keeps pulling it may be an issue. The hook in the SVN build has this electric energy hook feel to it. It'd be nice if this was used and caused the weapon to overheat and lose grip to recharge for a number of seconds. The blades would be unaffected and could continue spinning infinitely however ...

Wow, all these ideas are great. That model is exceptional Electro. I agree such a weapon would yield the the highest probability of a hit. An additional idea may be a (really) short range hook capable of pulling the enemy into the blade. This would be doubly cool for changing your direction. That is ...

For weapons, there has been a lot of talk about a melee weapon recently. Many consider Nexuiz too fast for such a weapon but I do not believe this to be true and a melee weapon would add a well needed dimension to the game.

So a few things we can use help with (for those interested):

- New weapons
- Segmented models
- New player models
- gibs moved to client-side
- better bot AI
