NPC Character behaviour, scripting etc.

hi guys, I was just sending out this thread to ask a few questions.

1) How can you define scripting to create an NPC behaviour (in simple ways if possible and maybe some examples :) )

2) How to create mission level/ state changes within an NPC????

I hope this doesnt sound like stupid questions ...

why not just have a character do a really camp bitch slap which not only shocks the player but stuns them for such behaviour, then it will give you enough time to do them over or give them another bitch slap.

hi, I tried to do the following but a problem occured, it said something like glide 2.dxll was not found, re - installing it may solve the problem, so i tried to reinstall it but the same thing happened.

Hi, you need either WinQuake or GLQuake to run under 2000 , XP or Vista. WinQuake is precisely like the DOS executable, runs in software and is kinda fugly. It can be found here:

Thanks for all this help guys, its really been helping me out and encouraging me to do some stuff in quake, i bought a copy of the game im just waiting for it so well see what happens and i will check out that place nexuiz or something. Thanks everybody!! :)

If you're looking for QuakeME, the old skin viewer (version 2.3), before he was contacted to change the name, I can't help you.

But as for QME (3.0+)...

The official site's help section isn't very extensive, but it's probably the best you'll get... Most of the advanced features you kind of have ...
