Re: Untitled RPG Project
frag.machine: no real performance hit yep. I capped my fps to 60 for recording purposes... it helped. It also helps that everything is very minimalistic.
toneddu2000: go on quests, defeat bosses, hopefully a pvp ranking system eventually. Maybe even little minigames to complete.

Re: Untitled RPG Project
Thanks, the player model, though simple, is a favorite of mine. Yes, that's the starting portal for the game. New characters spawn there. Green portals are for instant travel to a town, and red portals are for encounters. The scope? Like, the size? As big as Darkplaces will let me make it. Once I st...

PERFECT! Love both options. I have a use for both.
Problem. I can't convert .blend to .mdl. Could you export to .obj or even .mdl?

Re: Untitled RPG Project
I'm going to work on ways to make it more visually pleasing if I go with the mouse driven looking system. If no mouse looking then I have to redo the inventory system for keyboard only. FrikaC showed me once how to get a forward and reverse speed for player, but have no idea how it works. It involve...

Re: Untitled RPG Project
So, I need a little input on what I should do with the control scheme here. I originally planned on having a keyboard only control scheme, then I added a mouse driven inventory system that is causing a problem. I don't like having to take my hands off of the keyboard for anything. It's an inconvenie...
