Re: Id Software bundle sale on GOG

75% off right now on GOG.

Do the Quake/Doom series come with modernized engines or must users find one in the community?

Re: Formatted wrong drive :S

I've got revelation.exe and revelationded.exe in my messy doom3 folder, but not original download file. I don't know if anything else is in there. Was the menu in a pk4?

Re: last version of C::B Advanced

CB:A file sizes are humongous, but I'm missing some of those extras when I open CodeBlocks in Linux  I noticed the Mint distro was rev 9501, so I went to the main CB code site and saw a lot of recent activity.

Re: Intel, win10, glsl

Honestly I am only posting out of 9800 card curiosity. Running GeForce 9800M on a 2009 laptop. I'm surprised 9800gt doesn't support GL_ARB_debug_output. Mobile does (at least on Linux  ) Output of Nvidia Xserver openGL extensions- GeForce 9800M GTS/PCIe/SSE2 3.3.0 NVIDIA 340.93 GL_ARB_array...

Re: PCem

Drama is good publicity, however both projects are alive and cross-contributing. PCem 10 was just released with credits to both Battler and leilei on the home page. http://pcem-emulator.co.uk/

Lawbreakers: I like the grapple line effect, and the swing physics look good in the video (a little elastic but not too bouncy). Also pop-up backpack RL is great.

Re: Making DarkPlaces look like software quake

Latest quakeforge has a software appearance mode. The lighting is still a bit smooth, but it gives some of the artifacting that we like.
