Scaly demons, maybe changing the legs later to be normal humanoid legs, their walk animation looks kinda strange, alternative would be to make them walk on all 4 limbs and only raise up like this when attacking. They use the human size hitbox but with the FL_MONSTER flag to make them sort of bigger....

That no compat sounds interesting, but at the moment it probably wouldn't work very well with this.. also the current plan is to have it work with both DP and FTE.

Seems like I changed it to a software Quake engine. There were some nasty/annoying artifacts in the palette shader. Really bugged me. It'll still work in DarkPlaces, because it's not like there's any special extensions in DOS/WinQuake... Then I thought to make the models like they were in Quake or Q...

Allright, I got the alien model reworked to be gibbable, have a gun and a mouth.
