Update... Yea, that teleport was a bit weird.. now it's a different key/action, and only teleports back to start. Otherwise some levels would allow player to teleport right in front of the level exit. That's a bit too much skipping. Now it's probably not necessary to use sv_nqplayerphysics 1 in FTE ...

Yea, the textures were external and paletted... I also thought I like to have some variety. One project on a Doom engine and another on a Quake engine. Nice little game. Reminds me of a game I made with Games Factory some many years ago. It had a one screen town and then giant worms came there and tried to eat player.

I got 40 points. Yea, it was kinda easy to just stand in one spot and just spam the pistol all around.

Probably also looks better when there are hands holding it, and can be a higher in the view, and look a little bigger. I was doing some menu gfx yesterday, only to find out I made the text few pixels too tall, at least for the default quake menu stuff. I think I got my HUD numbers too tall as well. ...

They had some kind of voices, but they're not audible enough with all the gunfire. About the only sounds you hear from them is their sight and idle sounds. They have 5 different pain sounds, but did anyone really hear any of these sounds? They have 4 death sounds + some 6 different explosions. These...

Maybe I make the shells green, since the weapon that uses them fires green projectiles.. and then make the cells blue, since the weapon that uses them fires blue projectiles. The rockets holder could be yellow, like the bottom in the shells. Each item has some glowing part, so they should be visible...
