Conquest Discussion Thread

Conquest is now downloadable from Best of the Void. It has quite a few new weapons and a whole lot more planned, weapon mods, 7 different kinds of shields, a shop to buy it all from, a new monster (the horror), and lots more to do.

New additions include Drunk Rockets, the pistol, dual pistol, slugger, and plasma bomb. I'll be adding a Sniper Rifle and Flak Cannon very soon.

I'll be adding the town soon also, which will open the door for raising monsters, having an item pouch, and re-visiting beaten levels.

So, how does everyone feel about the weapon and shield selection? What should be a high priority to do next?

I'd like to see more variety in the monsters. Grunts with randomly chosen guns for example.

I love it Wazat, but I'll play it more when it has the town in it so it feels more Diabloish :)

Skinny: Yup, I intend to put some variety in the existing monsters' weapons and behavior, and even include a bunch of new enemies.

Ren: The town is coming up, but at first all it will have is a dimensional gate and a shop, since I don't know how I'll be doing the NPCs yet. I've never played Diablo, but I hear very good things about it!

I think the primary fire of the tesla is very....hmmmm.. pale...
Put some light into it, like make some of the bolts glow, and set the fullbright flag too, maybe this will make it look better.

Making the bolts glow has problems in DP, but making them full-bright might help. Thanks!
