It would be nice if someone could activate all the new registrations.

Re: Registering on the Inside3D Forums Part 2: The Revenge
I've activated a few, but I also saw quite a few with what appear to be invalid e-mail addresses. I've activated a couple that look potentially suspect too (mail.ru email addresses), so if spambots start showing up, be prepared for it.
There's no shortage of easily identifiable spambot accounts signing up. The Internets have been ruined by this crap. Hopefully nobody tries to shove a cryptominer script in.
If you have any specific usernames to activate, let me know what they are.

When I suggested to disable new accounts back then it was meant as a brief, temporary measure while something more effective could be done, like an update in the forums software or even a configuration adjust. I am afraid that at this point most of the valid subscribers on this list just gave up. Oh well, I hope I am wrong about this.

I know FrikaC made a cgi-bin version of the quakec interpreter once and wrote part of his website in QuakeC

some of the mail.ru adresses might be xash devs, the author of this quake/half-life engine is russian

Maybe, but most of the ones I've enabled (and since disabled) were all apparently spambots, judging from the refrigerator, jewelry, etc. posts that were made. In Russian no less.

If you know of any xash / JACK / etc devs with mail.ru addresses, do let me know, I'll activate them as required. (even if it takes me a day or two to do it

I wish there was a better way, but oh well.

UPDATE: Checking my e-mail, saw a new user "crystallize". mail.ru address, so I googled the username, apparently theres a crystallize on hlfx.ru forums regarding xash3d. Activated his / her account. Right time, Right place, I guess LOL.

His profile's email address is no longer valid. Since I've no way to get in touch with him, I have PM'ed an interim password to you for him to use.
Please pass it on to him, and make sure to tell him to change it after he gets back into his account.

As I have a valid password I'm told to use another browser (MotzillaFirefox).
Thing is I can use the password only on this browser.
I tried to log in with Opera, but with the same password the site blocks.
It is not a hard matter as I can use the Motzilla one,
but how come all the sites become crossed out with private laws limits?
