Oh and how about a fav icon, so it don't look so cheasy on my bookmarks toolbar :P
The tutorial section I already covered as to why I don't want it. The captcha we have seems to keep out spammers well, so the Mini Racer forum is not needed. As far as breaking engine programming into q1, q2, q3 and qf...I'll make a deal with you, when Engine Programming hits 3000 messages and it becomes confusing as to what engine people are talking about, I will make that change.

I agree with FrikaC that too many subdivisions would, at this point, make the whole thing look a little too scattered and, in fact, also emptier. Changes can be made as we go along.

That said, is there any way to contact former QuakeSrc members and let them know that they're more than welcome to post here? Do we also just assume that this "move" is an official one, that I3D has the "blessing" of former QuakeSrc webmasters?

Probably word of mouth would be the most effective way to gather the qsrc people, i got a few members on my buddy list that havent stopped by here yet, so ill let em know whats up. Doubt you can get a blessing from the webmaster of qsrc, as we haven't even got a response, announcement or anything on what the hell is going on.

Have fun losing your time with http://www.exalead.de/search/results?q= ... en&x=0&y=0

:)

I'll be harvesting the Quake Engines Family Tree of course.
Unfortunately they are using some stupid javascript that makes automated grabbing or processing pretty much impossible. So it's more of a way to get the information, not the "forum".

I also miss qsrc.

http://tomaz.quakesrc.org/scs/news.php

weird, isn't it?

BTW, the only reason why I don't actively participate at quakedev.com/forums is because the 'mark as read' function isn't working. Makes too hard for me to keep track of the forum. It's been a year since some of us reported it and it never got fixed, tho. :(
