QuakeIII Port for C++ With working SinglePlayer mode

hey

I've got a port from gred dolley off his blog he has a quake3 source Package. I downloaded it, Excited thinking the whole thing works. But no. The singleplayer does not work. Bugged up, meaning the map does not show. Now does anyone know a good port or quakeIII source that works, with visual 2008 C++ Express Edition?

His port works just fine.
Do you have the same problem with retail Quake 3?

FYI, porting Quake 3 to a modern compiler really isn't hard at all, if you don't trust anyone else to do it for you, you may find better luck doing it yourself.
