Worldcraft - grid
Just a thought; the grid in worldcraft on which you create levels - can it be increased? Mine's nearly full, and as BSP2 tools/engines are allowing me to spread and develop i'm now going to be limited by the grid... it's not a fatal problem because I haven't really *planned* to go bigger, but it *might* happen

zoom out and you can see more, but you can't really zoom in to that area, which means you'd have to reposition your entire map to keep your current working area within the central 4k.

Cheers for replies.
I think I'm cooked really and need to either swap editors (old dog new tricks problem right there) or just live with it.
Anyway this plog bost and image will show you where I'm at: http://earthquakemod.wordpress.com/2012 ... 3_02_2012/

O.M.G.
Does Worldcraft's grid really simply end? o_O
Switch editors, man. Try BSP or Radiant. You'll be glad you did.

Re: Worldcraft - grid
I have cunningly just dragged the edge of the map past the gird-ed area, and pasted a couple of copies of the flats' shell and I'm now compiling it. So the editor lets me go bigger than the gird, and, so far, the tools compile it - the only problem will be I'll have to drag the whole map across the grid to be able to use it (the grid) when constructing sections around the edges.
Yeh, I probably should learn BSP or Radiant, but, well, they're different and I'm lazy learning new stuff
