how can I get to use the sky shaders from Q3A in Darkplaces? for example the sky clouds.

the cluods doesn´t work in darkplaces (i believe), if you want nice cluods for darkplaces (working in q1bsp) you can check this

USe skybox with the "skyblack" shader.
