Making map with Google Sketch Up. Anyone?

Google Sketchup is program to draw 3d objects. Mainly houses. You can draw floorplan and extrude/pull walls from it. There is more and this program seems to be able to make making rapid.

In order to export objects to Quake .map format one has to export it with Blender or something ...

It has been used in game development. Uncharted maps were made with it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8mkPRmqUlFw .

Anyone has made some maps with this?

That video pretty clearly illustrates that it was only used for conceptualization. It's not very efficient to use a tool like that for realtime games.
