December Speed Mopping!!!

Post by Error »

Looks as though the first week of December will do.
It will start at 12pm EST.

Being that it is an all week event, you won't have to be there at EXACTLY that time.

Teams will be random. (unless someone states a better way to do it)

Random means no one is left out.

If you wish to be your own team, please state in this post. Also, if you can definately join in, please state in this post as well and tell what feild you will be working in.

Thank you, and I hope to see everyone there.

I should be able to participate, but I don't want to be my own team entirely. There was the possibility that I could be on two teams at a time though, since I'm multi-talented (sorta - I can do a little of coding and mapping)...

I hope not.

Give it some time, though, since yesterday was Thanksgiving.

EDIT: By the way, this should be posted about on the func_msgboard forums.

I really wish I could participate, but December is going to be a huge crush time for me, I'm really going to have a lot of work... Sorry, guys :( ... I love the concept, though, and I'll cheer up!

By the way, that's December 3rd  9th

If everyone wishes to meet up before this kicks off, join #speedqc on December 1st and/or 2nd. Maybe I'll let everyone pick teams if they can be done well and fairly enough.

Ive noticed so far the main rejection of this on Func_ has to do with the scheduled time, because it conflicts with their Base Map Compilation that Trinca started, which is supposed to wrap up around Christmas. Also it falls in a bad time for students.... finals.

Yeah that might be better, cos I realized I had to study for a final that week too (yay, this darned C++ class will be over!). Woot.

That said, I should be there for the speedmopping if it takes place at that time.

ATTENTION!!!

There's been a slight change of plan. The event will be held on DECEMBER 10th thru the 16th, to help get past the college finals and before the Winter holidays.

Thank you everyone. Please, come into #speedqc on irc.anynet.org any time from the beginning of December to get some teams created and to get to know your team mates if you don't already.
