Qexpo 2006 or bust

Postby r00k » Thu Nov 25, 2004 2:07 am

How about u early birds start NOW... and we release all our treasures on the 10th aniversary of QUAKE, where as we can convince the mainstream game mags to advertise or atleast the community ones to support it! early is just as bad as late... i think it'd be better to have a biggy on the 10th, or if u wanna have a small one on 2k5, and a biggy a year later.
ok, *sigh*... why not two consecutive years?! The 1st to promote the next?! :))

I've decided to do Zerstorer: Eternal Devastation. I can't say for sure if it'll get finished by Qexpo, or even finished at all, but if it does, I hope I don't get eaten alive by the dudes on func_msgboard. They seem to have a rather large love for Zerstorer.

Some alive projects I'm involved in.

The ELF's DiD2 (Starting to rock)

FrikaC's PRYDON GATE (Big secret recent developments there)

RenegadeC's STARSHIP TROOPERS: TACTICAL DEFENCE (Also lots of new stuff going on)

I've got a release coming up soon. Of course, if "soon" is anything like the dates I've been promising, it might take awhile. :P

After said release I'm not sure what I'll do next. I'm planning on learning modelling (Already decent at animating), but I think I'll revisit something - I've been meaning to polish up my sinifiend speedmod and rerelease it.

I'm a little burned out momentarily, but I still pick at these live projects:

Conquest
MiniCTF

...actually that's it. Quite the handful, they are. :)
When my computer inevitably explodes and kills me, my cat inherits everything I own. He may be the only one capable of continuing my work.

So lets do this thing, yes? I think the majority of us are behind a Qexpo this very year, and assuming we hold it in june/july again, it's not all that far off.

Ok, now who wants the fun organising jobs?
