Thank you, Chip! :)

What does each line in gtop.png show exactly?
My booth was the most visited?! Maybe because I was among the first people to release something (though feedback at func remained low). Or maybe I just clicled the preview link once too often when creating the booth...

Lines in gtop.png are (from top to bottom), pageviews, visits and visitors.

"only 4 engines". That about sums it up. And I even had "engine" in the name of my booth. Well, I tried to rep for software engines, I tried... just invisible now with all those fancy "opengl" cards nowadays

Actually it was a great experience. This was my first qexpo, and like Error said, it encouraged getting something done. The booth did generate more feedback for my project. It's going to take several weeks to actually sift through all the other new stuff put out there.

In future, the expo could use a "news booth", someone who may not have a project, but just browses and cranks out news. Or it could be more of a community thing- ask each person to thoughtfully review one other booth (or two) and also forward their review to a major outside forum or news site. I didn't realize until it was underway that anyone could post news, a great feature.

Thanks, Chip!

The original draft article had your engine, I don't know what happened when I copied it over to QExpo. It was unintentional, qbism, trust me :)

EDIT: Done, edited the original article.

QExpo was good.
I think we could apply some good things about real-life expos to the next - for example browsing the booth list by category.

I'm still waiting for someone to make a youtube channel that covers all the booths with 2 minute gameplay videos, and of course a playlist with simply everything from this year's qexpo.

The site seems to be dead. Did anyone backup it?

It's still here, http://quakewiki.net/expo2011/, but there seems to be a temporary problem with the CDN server. It will be fixed soon.

UPDATE: Yep, it's fixed.
