Submitting a little late is alright. I may have to if I can even get enough time to make something presentable.

Here's mine. It's not finished, but eh...

Looks like I slipped over the deadline anyway.

Forgot to mention in the readme, play it with FOV 75 for a more authentic experience.

I figured "what if Quake played like Halo" was a better idea than "what if Halo looked like Quake" ;)

But I did consider throwable grenades, ala Q2.

I ran into a roadblock involving compilers and 64-bit systems

It was going to be "What if Quake played like Deer Hunter". The only things actually done is the sound folder, which consist 90% of Scansoft Daniel making badly pronounced call-outs and complaints, and some gunfire. There's a new palette as well.

participating in events just after a fresh OS install = bad idea
i should not be here

I say, where were your priorities?

Very fun, especially since it is seamlessly playable.

Thinking of applications for this, one idea: a Lemmings-style herding game, get your grunts safely across a chasm with a limited budget of cubes. Higher levels have other monsters that try to attack the grunts.
