hmap2 and q3map2

Postby Chip » Tue Sep 20, 2011 9:13 pm

Would anyone be interested in porting the -dirty parameter from q3map2 to hmap2 and add ambient occlusion?

I'm sure it would be trivial for someone knowing their way around C/C++.

hmap2 has some tricks that might help, check out necros post on _anglesense [EDIT - oops, anglesense is an aguirre feature!]

I've used hmap2 8x8 option to soften lightmaps but haven't tried this...

It seems it does. I read that thread a few days ago.

But I didn't play with it, as I managed to install a 64bit version of Q3Map2.
