Any other csqc's?

Postby behind_you » Tue Jun 14, 2011 8:02 am

Yes a lot have asked this question. I'm looking for a decent csqc mod to see how things are done. Anyone know any mods that are not very large in size? I'm trying to get nexuiz but I can't download a gigabyte. Anyone have the nexuiz source by itself?

I've also tried these:
Kleshik
csqctest

I'm just looking for examples. Thanks!

Someone out there thinks it might be more helpful if you like maybe actually posted a link in this thread cuz like this was posted in a public forum and stuff and maybe there are others with same problem looking for same download.

yes, you're right Baker, but I didn't post a public download just because I don't know if it's legal to post someone's other work on public domain. If you can answer to this question (xonotic source is under GPL license) I swear I'll upload this evening! :)

I have found program that can upload to many file/image hosts, pause, schedule, work around captcha ... http://alternativeto.net/software/z_o_o ... -uploader/ so far I have good experience with it.

There isn't any harm in posting a link to a GPL QuakeC source code if the license file is in there.

The QuakeC source to Xonotic has been dated and tossed into http://quake-1.com/quakec-gallery

Considering that the Xonotic source code is the most highly evolved QuakeC ever created and Div0 possibly the strongest and most knowledgeable QuakeC coder ever (possibly aside from the compiler writing guys like Spike and FrikaC) ...

The number of QuakeC writing hours Divverent has done probably exceeds anyone except for possibly FrikaC. Xonotic and Nexuiz have I'm thinking 100,000 lines of QuakeC code written or maybe even more.

The file "Copying" is the GPL license file and is in that archive.
