That source code version is intended for experienced engine modders and released for the benefit of anyone curious and experienced to work with, modify or maybe debug. I didn't feel that source code should have been released and the post releasing it stated such. It is unsupported. As much as I'd like to perfect it, all my free time got taken away back in late October and I wasn't able to devote the time and effort into to complete it properly and fully debugged and I hit memory issues.
I have a different priority set at the moment and I have to stick to that.
The night is young. How else can I annoy the world before sunsrise?

Having black be the transparent colour would be dumb.
Imagine a fence or grate. It is vastly more likely that part of the actual structure will be black than it is that it'll be pink.
You won't have pink fences in Quake, right. Black ones? More likely.
It's ideal to use a very unusual colour for the "transparent" job.
Edit: You're from Libya? Then I'm surprised that you have internet atm. Didn't your Dear Leader try to switch it off?
I'm from Germany, and we're pretty interested in what happens in Libya. Good luck!

Im using a combination of slow mobile internet and ip proxies. Watching news now. Our dickhead leader is celebrating his 34 year of when he gave the 'peoples power' power while my family die. Some nights r real scary. I dnt sleep much, bt u can be surprised how much u can get done when gunshots and screams echo in the streets
