I use Textpad. It has really goo find/replace functions. You can scour a folder for functions, and replace things in them.

Like Mexicouger said, TextPad has incredible singular search and replace even doing Regex.
[But I started the thread not needing singular search and replace, but the ability to do several search and replaces in one fell swoop ... And I have not discovered anything except a couple of shareware utilities capable of doing 70-80 search + replaces at once. If I ever find a text editor capable of batch search and replace ... that'd be like "Wow!"]
The night is young. How else can I annoy the world before sunsrise?
Inquisitive minds want to know ! And if they don't -- well like that ever has stopped me before ..

textcrawler is potentially dangerous i found as regardless of filters it also replaces those same strings in executables and dll's. other than that its ok
ultraedit was one of my favorite tools some years back but its not free. it can be used free of charge for a time though.
